The 2016 Aviva Women's Tour will take place from Wednesday 15 to Sunday 19 June forming a part of the new UCI Women's WorldTour, which will be the leading worldwide series of races for professional women's cyclists. As a result the race in 2016 is set to be bigger and better than ever as it takes it place as one of just 17 events making up the top level of women's cycling.
The Aviva Women's Tour takes place from Wednesday 15 to Sunday 19 June 2016, starting in Southwold on the Suffolk coast and finishing five stages later in Northamptonshire.
The 2016 Tour will start off from Southwold, home of our partners Adnams, on the Suffolk coast, finishing five days later in Northamptonshire. In between the race will visit seven counties in the heart of England, including five new to the route. There will be a first visit to the Peak District National Park on Stage Three, while Stage Two will head into the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in south Warwickshire.

Detailed routes for all five stages including the locations of Queen of the Mountains climbs, Sprints and Start and Finish times will be announced in the coming weeks and months, so make sure to check back then to find out where you'll be able to see the world's best female cyclists this June.
Having hosted the first ever stage of the Aviva Women's Tour in 2014, Northamptonshire will become the only county to have hosted a full stage of the race in all three editions when it plays host to the final stage of the 2016 race.
